Arctic Tails LLC - Playtime Rules
Although playtime is a great opportunity for you and your dog we have some rules that need to be followed in order to keep this time fun and safe for all involved.
- This is a high energy hour, a wonderful time for your dogs to express themselves socially. You will encounter many
personalities such as timidness, rough playing dogs, dominance and barking dogs, all normal in the spectrum of dogs. "Dog" play will be allowed so you may experience mounting behavior, snapping, and barking.
- There will be at least two "monitors" at all times. We will be aware of the dogs at all times watching for unwanted
behavior.
- Your dog is to be attended by you at all times. You are responsible for your dogs actions so please remain in the
same room with it at all times.
- Please do not bring treats into play areas.
- A dog presenting aggressive tendencies will be corrected or asked to leave.
- Please clean up after your dog (inside and out) pooper-scoopers, pick up bags and mop are provided.
- Please don't take cell phone calls while at playtime. If you must take the call do not leave your dog in the play area
unattended.
- Everyone is responsible for their own dogs behavior, watch your dog to make sure he/she isn't "picking" on another
dog. Do not correct other people's dogs. If your dog is encountering a situation you are uncomfortable with remove him/her and find the other owner or talk to a playtime monitor about the situation.
Children Rules:
- Please, if you bring children be aware that not all dogs are used to children. Make sure that your child asks before
touching another dog.
- No running or screaming, this excites the dogs and is a risk for your child being snapped at in play and possibly
injured in an act of play.
- Children must remain in the same area as their parents at all times.
Arctic Tails, its staff and volunteers are not responsible for any injury you, your dog or your child may receive while participating in the free playtime sessions.
